Justin Cook
Director of Bands
Mr. Cook is originally from Byram where he was an active member in the Byram/Terry band programs. He currently resides in Clinton with his wife, Annie, and daughter, Charlie. He received his Associate’s of Arts from Hinds Community College, Bachelor’s of Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College,. His experience includes thirteen years of teaching and teching around the state. He has taught bands at Crystal Springs, Vicksburg, and Hillcrest Christian School as well as over a decade of instrumental instruction.

Nicholas Fuqua
Assistant Band Director
Nicholas Fuqua [Foo-Kway] is currently in his tenth year of teaching and is excited to begin his third year at Terry High School. He received an Associates of the Arts from Hinds Community College and his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education: Instrumental (K-12) from Mississippi College. Prior to coming to Terry High School, Mr. Fuqua has served as both an Assistant and Head band director at Crystal Springs High School and the Mississippi School for the Blind. He currently lives in Clinton, MS with his wife and two children.
Keshawn Williams
Percussion Director
Mr. Keshawn Williams is excited to begin his third year as assistant band director at THS. He and his wife, Amber, are native of Hazlehurst, MS. He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Music from Miss. College and is currently seeking a Masters of Arts in Music Ed./Music Studies from Liberty University. As a percussion instructor, he has worked with various band programs throughout the state and Memphis, TN for the last 14 years. He is looking forward to continuing to help create a positive environment that allows all students to be successful.
Ashley Ashley
Guard Instructor
Ms. Ashley is currently a teacher at Terry High School. She is the mother to twin girls, Paris and Layla. Ashley Ashley is a THS graduate and performed with the Terry High School Color Guard 2008-2011. She served as captain during her senior year and the guard received Best Guard at the state competition. After high school, she attended Copiah Lincoln Community College. While at CLCC, she was apart of the color guard team there as well. Ashley graduated from Delta State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and she is endorsed in History and Exceptional Education. She has been coaching color guard since 2018 with superior ratings each year at competition. She is looking forward to the continuation of success within the team.

Kendra Caldwell-Gibbs
Band Assistant
Mrs. Caldwell-Gibbs (Caldwell) is originally from the Jackson area. She is married to Dr. Andres Gibbs and they share a son named Kasen. Mrs. Caldwell is a Terry High School graduate, class of 2010. After high school she attended Hinds Community College to major in nursing, but eventually changed majors and moved to Starkville to attend Mississippi State University where she earned an undergrad degree in Sociology. Mrs. Caldwell started her teaching career as a teacher assistant in Hinds County School District in 2019. She is in the process of obtaining a Masters in Education. She is currently endorsed in Social Studies, General Sciences and Biology. Mrs. Caldwell returned to Terry High as a teacher and band assistant in 2021. Go Dogs and Hail State!
